Skógarkolefni (Forest Carbon Code) has released version 2.1, effective from 11 May 2026. The latest revisions are minor. Changes have mainly been made to Chapters 2.2 and 3.3, providing clearer information on requirements and guidance.

The Skógarkolefni set of requirements for forest carbon projects has now been made available in printable pdf form. However, the official version of the set remains the text issued on the Skógarkolefni website and all references should be made to the online text.

A new version of the Skógarkolefni Forest Carbon set of requirements has just been released. At the same time, Skógarkolefni's new website was launched at skogarkolefni.is.
